Kassume is an internationally recognized construction expert and arbitrator with over 40 years of experience in complex infrastructure and construction projects. He has acted as an expert witness in numerous disputes exceeding USD 500 million and has participated in both ad hoc and institutional arbitration proceedings involving claims of over USD 100 million, including those conducted under the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC) and the Abu Dhabi Commercial Conciliation and Arbitration Centre (ADCCAC).
Kassume is a registered civil engineer in Saudi Arabia and Syria and a certified arbitrator at the GCC Arbitration Centre in Bahrain. He is also a member of the Society of Construction Law (SCL) and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb).
